Current Job: Zebra Technologies

Leading the Aurora Imaging Library
I am one of the responsibles of the algorithms of AIL. My role isn’t just coding; I collaborate with the UI, Documentation, and Test teams to deliver a complete product, and I help our clients solve their most difficult application challenges .

Empowering the Aurora Focus Camera
I am currently working on the Aurora Focus smart camera. My goal is to embed our powerful imaging library directly into the camera hardware, enabling it to process data autonomously at the edge.
First Job: Matrox Imaging

Mastering Industrial Image Processing
This is where I learned the industry. I maintained core MIL modules like Calibration, Measurement, and Metrology. I also innovated by designing the Advanced Geometric Matcher (AGM).

Technical Mastery & Teamwork
I learned to be a relentless teammate while mastering the complexities of a large library using C++, Git, SVN, and Visual Studio . I bridged the gap between old and new by implementing non-linear optimizers like Levenberg-Marquardt.

Deep Learning & AI Specialization
I learned the deep learning technology by completing the Coursera Deep Learning AI specialization, and developing machine learning algorithms like Random Forest and AdaBoost following industry standards into MIL.
Master’s Degree: Polytechnique Montréal

A Merit-Based Achievement
I was selected for the prestigious Al Ghurair Foundation Scholarship based on academic merit . This gave me the opportunity to pursue my passion in Canada. And had my master degree gpa grow from 3.5 to 3.84 at the end after adapting to new environment

Gaining Hands-on Experience
I didn’t just study theory; I built systems. I gained practical experience by developing real projects like synchronizing robot movement using the A* algorithm, developing real-time control systems for robots using QNX, and creating a vision system to guide a Fanuc robot.
University (Bachelor’s): ENP Algiers

Built on a Strong Foundation
I started with two years of intensive preparatory classes—studying math, physics, and coding from 9 AM to 6 PM, six days a week. This dedication helped me graduate 5th out of 1400 students (Top 1%) with a 17.5/20 GPA .

Acquiring Engineering Knowledge
I built a strong engineering foundation through diverse projects. I developed an Adaptive Cruise Control system for autonomous vehicles and programmed a complex industrial assembly machine for a factory using PLCs .
